Save More Pets with These Valuable Tools
Discover All the Benefits You Receive As a Member of NAPRP!
You can choose from free or paid membership options:
1. Become a FREE "Helping Paw" member and receive a weekly newsletter, and live access to our monthly expert teleseminars. (Click here to sign up.)
or
2. Become a "Golden Paw Insider" member and get immediate LIFETIME access to a vast range of tangible information and tools you need to save more pet's lives! (Use this link to apply for your paid membership now.)
ALL members receive:
1. Teleseminars with experts from diverse humane organizations (this page has links to descriptions of past teleseminars). Free Helping Paw members can listen live, but do not receive the audio downloads. Golden Paw Insider members can listen to any of the audio recordings, which are archived in the private member area of the NAPRP Web site.
2. Informative member newsletters. Find out what other members are doing and learn about upcoming events and happenings at NAPRP.
As a "Golden Paw Insider" Member of NAPRP, you receive:
1. Two printed books specifically for adopted pet owners. (Pet education is vitally important!)
2. Free customization of the books' cover with your logo and group name. (Use the books as a profit center by purchasing them at wholesale prices as described here and here.)
3. Pet education articles you can modify for your own use. More than 100 articles that you can use in newsletters and hand out to adopters. There are Q&A articles and "pet pointers" articles that are three short articles on one "theme subject" like allergies. If you've been struggling to get people to write for your newsletter, these tidbits make great "filler" articles to save you time.
4. Information on grant writing and available grants for rescues and other humane groups. Links to these resources can be updated and expanded upon by members using our "wiki" format, so you never have to be frustrated with broken links.
5. Worksheets for pledges, budgeting, contests, order forms, raffle tickets. All in word processing files, so you can add your logo and customize them for your group.
6. Templates for common files we all need, such as newsletters, brochures, business cards, and Web sites, which you can download instantly. These tutorial packages are sold elsewhere for $12 each.
7. Donation thank you cards and artwork for super easy fundraisers you can pull off with limited resources. Some of the artwork has been used to make money before, so it's proven that it catches people's eye!
8. Preadoption forms to help you match the right critter with the right home
9. Volunteer forms and information on managing volunteers and knowing when volunteers can become a liability. We've all experienced what happens when people don't get along. Nip problems in the bud!
10. Telephone forms, so you never lose another message, no matter how many volunteers are manning the desk. Easy fill-in-the-blank forms mean no more call backs for missing information.
11. Fax cover sheets for faxing found pet notices to local newspapers (many will list them for free). Get the word out about your animals.
12. Lost pet signs to hand out when people lose their dog or cat. They can fill in the blanks themselves, so leave a pile of them on your counter!
13. Incoming pet forms with questions to draw out information from reluctant humans. The forms include spaces for recording vaccinations and checking off procedures.
14. "Want forms" so you can keep track of the type of pets people want. When the animal comes in you are just a phone call away from a new home. This simple card filing system comes with the forms and simple instructions.
15. ID Tag Registration form. If you use numbered ID tags, use this to keep track of the pet that belongs to each ID.
16. Our resource rolodex. This list of suppliers includes only those we have used ourselves or that come highly recommended. Everything from Web site hosting to printers is included.
17. Member Spotlight Page on the NAPRP site. Get more exposure for your organization (and your animals) thanks to a member spotlight page on our high-traffic Web site. If your animals are on Petfinder we can include your feed on your spotlight page as well.
18. First dibs on our radio show slots. NAPRP founder Susan Daffron does a weekly radio show (podcast) for PetLifeRadio called Take Me Home. On the show, she showcases adoptable animals from rescues around the country. Although any rescue can participate for free, we do give first dibs to our members!
Plus, we'll be adding more resources as the site grows, so join now!

Vendor Membership
If you are a Vendor that offers products of interest to the humane and rescue community, you can sign up for a vendor membership for a $500 annual membership fee. Our members are looking for products and services that will help them save more lives. Can you help them? If so, join now.
You receive advertising opportunities and a sponsors Web page. Plus your advertising dollars make it possible for us to offer scholarship memberships to smaller, underfunded rescues.
Scholarship Programs
For every Vendor membership we receive, we can offer one scholarship. So if you are a small rescue that is worrying about the fee, find a pet-related vendor that supports your organization and tell them about NAPRP! Just be sure they put your name in the referral box when they join.
Another way small rescues can "pay their way" is using our Refer 3, Get Yours Free! program. Find other rescues and tell them about NAPRP. When they join, have them put YOUR NAME in the referral box. If you bring in three referrals, your Individual Membership is free.
