This week I saw a reference to a New York Times article about how stereotypically straight men don't like or adopt cats, but that the trend is reversing. Everyone knows "cat ladies" love their kitties, but apparently, men are "coming out of the cat closet and unabashedly embracing their feline side. To that end, they are posting photographs and videos of their little buddies on YouTube and on Web sites."

This idea sounds like a great adoption event opportunity to me! Stores run "guys only" shopping days, and there's no reason you can’t have a special "Men Only" adoption event at your rescue or shelter. The press would love it, and you'd get some great exposure!
