If you can come up with a creative way to keep someone coming back to your Web site, over time you'll be rewarded with a community of fans. It might be photos, videos, writing, or something else. Mostly it just needs to be interesting in some way, whether it's funny, cute, unusual, or just plain helpful.

Sometimes, things happen where you have absolutely no control of the outcome. The classic Serenity Prayer suggests that you should "accept the things you cannot change." I think it's good advice. You really do have a choice.

Volunteer Advantage is a Web site that helps you recruit and retain volunteers. It delivers rewards and discounts from businesses to volunteers as a way of saying thank you. Sometimes we all have to make hard choices. If you are afraid of "failing" consider the animals. Their needs should come before yours. The health and safety of the animals at your rescue needs to be your number one priority. If you can't care for them properly yourself, get them into a situation where they will be given humane care and the chance at a forever home.
