Oddly enough, many organizations are so worried about offending their donors that they actually don't ask for donations in many of their communications. It's a recipe for disaster. You won't get donations if you don't ask.

No one is perfect. I'm not saying you should wallow in self-pity, but you can't be Super Anything 24 hours of every day. Give yourself permission to be tired, and to be whiny every once in a while. Give yourself a break when you need to. You'll go back and do what you need to do after the break.
