I'm going to be doing a new weekly online radio show called "Take Me Home" for Pet Life Radio (http://www.petliferadio.com). My plan is to invite people from shelters and rescue groups to be on my show. 

The format of the show will give people in rescue an opportunity to showcase one of their adoptable pets. Maybe you have a "diamond in the rough" that has been in your shelter or foster care for a long time, but who has been overlooked.

I'm happy to report that the NAPRP private member area did in fact "go live" on schedule on March 20th. If you are a member and did not get the log-in information I emailed you, please let me know! We uploaded more than 160 documents, forms, artwork and even the audio recording from our first teleseminar.

One of our very first subscribers to our series of 101 Fundraising Ideas for Rescue Organizations sent me a link to an interesting article. Apparently, a lot of research has been done to figure out which types of music literally "soothes the savage beast." They've discovered that certain classical music calms dogs that are in shelters.
