Many rescue groups struggle to get get the word out about what they do, but it's not as difficult as it may seem to get noticed by the media. The key to getting publicity is to learn what makes the news. When you encounter news, whether online, in print, or on TV news, consider why the story was covered in the first place. How did the media outlet find out about it and why did they care? Then consider if there are elements of the story you could apply to your own situation. Read More »
